Description

Athens Stool is a minimalist design created by Switzerland-based designer Leonard Kadid. The Athens stool is made of solid oak. The geometry of the stool results in the assembly of three folds made with an identical angle of 158 degrees. The folds brace the stool in every direction and create the seat. Similarly to classical architecture, the structure and its elements define the geometry and the proportions of the ensemble. The particular angle of 158 degrees produces a comfortable seat and a rigid structure. The folds are made using a mitre joint and their assembly together is made using a groove joint.
